Wei Ming

There was a 12-year-old girl named Wei Ming that came up to Catie and I two days ago when we were sitting on the ledge in the middle of Shanghai. She spoke English incredibly well, and told us about growing up in the city. Her mom was there with her and their interactions were adorable. She totally stole my heart and through all the sight-seeing we've been doing in Beijing, all I can think about is how much more I learned from talking to her.

I think I'll write more when I'm not confined to a BlackBerry.

Peace out.
